The
Industrial Park is specifically designed for large-scale and heavy
industries, and those having a polluted degree higher than those
of light industries. The Industrial will have international standard
infrastructure, including:
Road
Network
A
Road Network consisting of main, secondary and lot roads, not only
providing access to every lot of land, but also enhancing an effective
flow of both cargo and passenger traffic.
Water
Supply
The
fresh water distribution system in Hiep Phuoc IP is connected with
the water supply system of Ho Chi Minh City. Initially, the capacity
of water supply to Hiep Phuoc IP will be 3,000 cubic meters per
day. This capacity is planned to be progressively expanded as of
2003.
Power
Supply
The
Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park will be supplied with electricity from
the 675MW Hiep Phuoc Power Plant, a 100% foreign-owned Build-Own-Operate
electric power plant adjacent to the Park. The power distribution
network of Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park will provide 22KV medium voltage
lines that shall assure sufficient and stabilized power supply.
Telecommunications
In
co-operation with Nha Be and Ho Chi Minh City Post and Telecommunications
Department, the Hiep Phuoc IP shall have a modern international
standard telecommunications network, to adequately meet domestic
and international telecommunications requirements.
Waste
Water Collection
The Hiep Phuoc
IP shall be equipped with a wastewater collection system and possibly
with a central wastewater treatment plant. The wastewater discharged
into the system shall be limited to domestic wastewater and pre-treated
industrial wastewater that has already been toxically nullified
in the individual pretreatment systems within the tenants' factories.
Storm
Water Drainage
Storm
water drainage will be separated from wastewater drainage. Storm
water shall be directly discharged into canals and arroyos adjacent
to the Hiep Phuoc IP. The use of reinforced concrete ditches aims
at limiting the burying depth and guaranteeing smooth drainage in
case of floods.
Shipping Access to the Hiep Phuoc Industrial
Park
The
Soai Rap River is naturally the largest and widest channel from
the sea to Ho Chi Minh City. The initial aim is to create an interim
access channel northwards from Hiep Phuoc to the Long Tau River
that is the existing shipping access channel for vessels of 25,000DWT.
This will immediately give the Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park the same
accessibility as Saigon Port. At a later stage the access channel
to the sea via the Soai Rap River will be deepened to allow for
a maximum size of vessels of 50,000DWT.
Deep-Sea
Port
The
Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park will be equipped with deep draught quays
sufficient for fully laden 25,000 dwt ships at the inception of
the project. The design will however allow easy adaptation to accommodate
50,000 dwt vessels in the further development phases.
Other
Public Utilities
Other
public infrastructure facilities and utilities including areas reserved
for public parks and green belt buffer zones greatly enhance the
working environment of the Park.
